Sons Of Norway Meatball Dinner Jan 19, 2008

Mom had a meatball dinner for her Sons Of Norway Lodge on Sat. and we got there at 12:30 a.m. and it started at 3:00. I was very dissapointed because my Norwegian friends Nicole and Michael did not come. I made a new friend, JD. I tried very hard to be good, but I also wanted to help! I wanted to help serve the food, and help sell items at the Market Table. After Mommy was done with her announcements, I wanted to make one...and this is what I said " Okay guys, the cookies are really good, but you really have to go to the Market table and get something!" (With no prompting from anyone!!! ) Mommy said it was a really good message! In this picture I am eyeing decorations that I am not supposed to touch! They look so cool!

First visit to the Doctor for the baby in the belly...

Today Mommy went for her first visit to the Dr. Taylor for the baby. I asked the doctor if I could hear the heartbeat and she said yes. But she could not find it, so she did and ultrasound! I got to put the jelly on mommys belly and move the thing around!!! Here is the baby-body to the left and head to the right...13 weeks old!!!

So, after we went to the Childrens Museum and Mommy and I had our picture taken! It was funny!!!

Driving in the car...

"Mom?"

"Yes, Benjamin"

"The snow is my friend...He is a he, just like me."

"okay..."

"But the sun is not my friend..."

"Yes it is Benjamin...why would you say that?"

"Because it shines in my eyes so that I cannot see."

After looking at baby clothing in the store...

"But when does the baby get dressed in your belly?"

"It doesn't Benjamin, it gets dressed when it comes out..."

"When it comes out it is going to cry alot!"

"Yes, but that's okay, Benjamin, we just have to take care of it..."

"It's okay, I'll make it feel better...I'll say 'It's okay baby...' and then we'll have to cover it with bandaids..."

Christmas package from Norway!

Yum! Yum! Goodies from Norway!!! Yeah! This is my "Viking Hat"...the bags of candy lasted about 2 hours...(between mom and me...! ) Tusen, tusen takk!!!!

We spent new Years Eve with our friends Sonja, Scot and Jake and Jeff, Abbie and Victor.

In 2007, Benjamin started going to Winnie The Pooh Preschool two days a week and he started playing soccer with the Lil' Kickers! He loves them both!

But, I suppose our biggest bit of news is that

Benjamin is going to be a big brother!
