Dancing around the Christmas Tree
~Tradition in Norway~
from the Julenisse or Christmas Elf.
After we dance around the tree at our party
we have someone come out and ask three times-
"are there any good children out there??"-
Benjamin was so excited to see the Julenisse
He kept looking out the window
and asking me when he was going to come...
After the evening was wrapping up,
Ben came up to me and said...
"Is it over mom?"
"Yes..."
"But when is the Julenisse going to come??"
"He was here Ben...he gave you the goodie bag..."
"that wasn't the Julenisse! That was a
PARENT!"
To which I did not reply...
It was a great evening
